A long-time supporter of the arts, Dr. Harvey Manes was chosen as the “2022 Man of the Year” by the Suffolk County Legislature, in honor of his philanthropy and service to the county as an Orthopedic Surgeon.

 

In addition to this notable award, the Mayor of Lindenhurst dedicated November 28th, 2022 as “Dr. Harvey Manes Day.”

 

“Dr. Harvey Manes was chosen for his generous contributions and committed efforts to the Studio Theatre of Long Island’s mission of presenting quality theatre and a robust youth theatre program in the Lindenhurst community,” said Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata.

 

 Dr. Manes maintains his own orthopedic and physical therapy practice, serving the Long Island community. He is a master in his trade, and has often been noted as a pioneer in joint replacement surgery—earning him TV and radio recognition.
